The Avoca Beach Surf Life Saving Club was established in 1929 and over the years has had a long and proud tradition in patrolling, competition and community involvement. Avoca Beach Surf Life Saving Club patrols the beach from October through to late April each year with voluntary patrols on the weekends and public holidays. Avoca Beach Surf Club is the proud home to Sunsets Bistro, serving family favorite quality food with a view.
