Chewton is now a small town but, from 1851 was part of the goldfields bonanza. The house is situated in bushland near the Goldfields Track, and connected to extensive walking/riding trails. Shack 14 is an architect-designed eco retreat on 10 acres, surrounded by bush, but only an eight minute drive to Castlemaine and five minutes to Chewton. Architect Ken Latona has created an open, tent-like dwelling that helps guests to connect with nature, themselves, and each other. Perfect for couples, close friends or families.
