Description
Gradual Closure of Bicentennial Park | Bayside Council
The M6 Stage 1 project will build a four-kilometre tunnel to connect President Avenue in Kogarah with the M8 motorway at Arncliffe, that will divert more than 2,000 trucks a day from existing roads. The project is a NSW Government project being led by Transport for NSW and is expected to cost the NSW Government $2.7bn. The construction will impact access to public space and facilities at Rockdale Bicentennial Park from late October 2021 with complete closure from February 2022.
